Demo values versus CGI defaults
The values in the Default column for QR Code are the settings selected in the BCMaker demo form and your working GET example. An independent QR CGI help response could not be verified.
Encode text, numbers, or links as QR Code images. Choose the symbol version, encoding, error correction and rendering options.

GET /demos/qrcoded.phpHTTP / HTTPSSpecify the data and optional barcode settings through the BCMaker generator endpoint. The QR demo demonstrates GET requests with form parameters.

| Parameter | Description | Accepted values | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
data | Text or other data that the QR symbol should contain. | URL-encoded text, URL, or numeric string | 1234567 |
xdim | Size of one QR Code module in pixels when the output dimensions are not forced. | Positive pixel value | 4 |
w | Optional output image width. | Pixels; leave empty for automatic sizing | — |
h | Optional output image height. | Pixels; leave empty for automatic sizing | — |
Choose the QR symbol version, data representation and correction strength.
| Parameter | Description | Accepted values | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
version | Preferred QR Code version. Larger versions provide more modules and capacity. | 0 = Auto; 1–40 = versions 1 through 40 | 0 |
mode | How input data is encoded. | 0 = Auto; 1 = Numeric; 2 = Alphanumeric; 3 = Byte; 4 = Kanji | 0 |
ecl | Error-correction level of the QR Code. | 0 = L (7%); 1 = M (15%); 2 = Q (25%); 3 = H (30%) | 1 |
Control barcode rotation, quiet zones and foreground/background colors.
| Parameter | Description | Accepted values | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
angle | Rotation of the generated symbol. | 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees | 0 |
quiet | Include the clear margin surrounding the QR symbol. | 0 = Hide; 1 = Show | 1 |

| Parameter | Description | Accepted values | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
debug | Requests diagnostic information when supported by the generator. | Example request includes debug=1 | — |
submit | Name/value emitted by the legacy HTML submit button. | Optional form field; not a barcode setting | — |
This example encodes 1234567 and includes the settings from the BCMaker demonstration request.

L, M, Q and H correspond to approximately 7%, 15%, 25% and 30% damage recovery; increasing correction generally reduces available data capacity.
Use RGB without the # sign: ffffff for white, 000000 for black and 0000ff for blue.
Leave w and h empty to let the generator size from the X-dimension. Always URL-encode arbitrary data values.
